Journal View is a Welcome Page tool that has the power to replace your shift books. It is expandable to a full-page view. A site may have unlimited Journals, and users can subscribe to as many Journals as they would like within their own organization. Entries record the Who-What-Where of issues or events on property. When no longer needed, entries can be archived, but remain available for searches, which saves you the hassle of flipping through paper to try to locate a specific note.
If a Standard Work Order is necessary due to an issue or event reported in a Journal Entry, one can be created directly from the New Journal Entry form. The Journal Entry details will be viewable from the Work Order Detail page, and will remain linked indefinitely. Alternately, a Journal Entry can be created within the Work Order Detail page if other shift employees need to know the reason for the work.
